Receiving and Delivery services are for everyone – whether you’re an interior designer looking for your business or are working on a project in your own home! We at Modern Moving have helped our clients with customizable receiving, storage & delivery options that suit their individual needs. Do you need to store newly ordered items while your house is still under renovation or maybe you’d like us to receive, inspect and assemble an item because you’re not home? Modern Moving has you covered!
We take the stress out of the receiving and delivery process! Whether you’ve got an entire household’s worth of belongings being shipped, or just one or two items for a client, Modern Moving’s commitment to outstanding quality and service remains the same.
Our Three-Step Process:
Step 1: Receiving
Every item that MMC receives is unpacked and inspected by our trained receiving team for damages or
inaccuracies. If any are found, MMC will document them by taking multiple pictures from different angles and communicate this information to you immediately and facilitate a timely solution. Our trained moving
team will then wrap your items in padded blankets and shrink-wrap them tightly. Treating your items as
if they were our own is our guarantee.
Step 2: Storage
All MMC customers will be received through one of our state-of-the-art storage facilities at one of our
two locations. Our facilities are secured through video surveillance and a private security alarm
monitoring company. Both facilities are fully insured and not shared with anyone.
After your Items have been received, inspected & wrapped we will store them for as long as you need them to be, once you are ready to receive them just give us a call and we will arrange your desired delivery date.
Step 3: Delivery
When you and your family, or your business and clients, are ready, we’ll set up delivery at a time that is
most convenient for you all. Our white glove delivery service means that all deliveries will be conducted
by our full-time, uniformed delivery team from our warehouse facilities. Each item will be handled
carefully and delivered to its destination with the utmost care. The Modern Moving Way!!
Designer Rates
Delivery: $185/hour for two movers with a one-hour minimum, an additional $40/ hour for each extra mover.
This includes the setup/assembly of any item. The clock starts from the time tracking information is sent out saying we are en route. Customers can utilize us for whatever they want while we are on the clock, we will not charge extra.
No extra charges for stairs, tight turns, or elevators!
